Ashley Bieker, MD

Dr. Bieker was born and raised in the Puget Sound region. She earned her medical degree (MD) from the University of Washington in Seattle and is a proud graduate of MultiCare's Tacoma Family Medicine Residency program. She speaks Spanish and has served on international medical projects in Ecuador, Nicaragua, and Honduras. Before joining Vera Whole Health in 2024, Dr. Bieker practiced full spectrum family medicine with obstetrics at a local community health center, with both ambulatory and in patient responsibilities, and later transitioned to exclusively outpatient primary care. No matter the setting, she has relished the privilege of caring for entire families, from newborns to seniors. Dr. Bieker's detail-oriented practice style recognizes each patient as a human being with unique lived experiences; it emphasizes a partnership approach to identifying their wellness goals and striving to meet them together. Through the prioritization of mutual respect and the creation of a safe space, she hopes her patients feel validated and understood, no matter where they may be in their journey to better health. She believes in the power of primary care, and that a strong doctor-patient relationship is priceless.
