A recent project report released by the Duke-Margolis Center for Health Policy and JPMorgan Chase’s new health initiative, Morgan Health, presents the case for advanced primary care (APC), arguing that a new vision and approach is desperately needed to increase the effectiveness and address the rising costs of traditional, employer-sponsored healthcare.
Titled “A Pathway for Coordinated, Affordable Employee-Sponsored Primary Care”, the project report is written by authors including Mark McClellan, founding Director of the Duke-Margolis Center for Health Policy at Duke University, and Dan Mendelson, CEO of Morgan Health at JPMorgan Chase & Co. It references Vera Whole Health and the Morgan Health-Vera Whole Health partnership, as well as providing examples of what’s possible when employers unite with primary care organizations.
